Dentons really tapped into their creativity with their 2019 United Way campaign! Using a campaign theme of “Rumble in the Jungle”, their campaign committee transformed the office café to look like the inside of a jungle and hosted many fun and engaging events that translated into some great fundraising. Local Love in Action Award (individual) presented to: Harvey Kooner (ICBC)
After a decade of declining participation, Harvey, in his first year as Campaign Chair, wanted to find ways to put the fun back in fundraising and drive up ICBC’s participation rate. With incentives, leadership engagement and lots of fun events, Harvey’s hard work and dedication led to an increase in volunteers, an increase in donor participation, and an increase in dollars raised. Way to go Harvey!
