This weekend, start your Acts of Local Love 31-day challenge!
What is the Acts of Local Love challenge?
This 31-day challenge is a simple-to-use card deck that will inspire you to carry out one act of local love, every day. You can take the challenge as an individual or get together with your family and friends and challenge them to share the love! Why? Because small things add up.

And if you are going to those barbecues, beach days and woodland hikes, simply take the cards with you. They are the perfect setting to share some local love.
What are acts of local love?
An act of local love can take many forms. It might be as simple as saying hello to someone on the street, or as exciting as a community project to solve a problem in your neighbourhood. Or how about leaving a much-treasured book for someone new to enjoy?
An act of local love is an activity that helps us build healthy, caring, inclusive communities; the kind we all want to live in.
Who can take part?
Anyone can take part in the challenge! Whether you’re eight or eighty, these fun, family-friendly activities make giving back and taking part something everyone can enjoy.
How do I start?
Order or download your deck to get started. Each Acts of Local Love card deck comes with action and instruction cards to inspire you during your 31-day journey.
Why take part?
Because it feels great! And don’t just take our word for it, see it for yourself.
As you complete your acts, be sure to share your journey. Take a photo and include #ActsofLocalLove on your social media so we can follow along!
By 2025, we want to inspire 1 million people to engage in acts of local love in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
