Thanksgiving is a time to thank you for giving!

thanks_for_giving It’s easy to take for granted the ordinary things in our lives, but for many people in our community, an ordinary life is just not possible. With your generosity and United Way’s help, we have the power to change people’s lives. None of the work we do would be possible without our donors. In 2014/15, United Way British Columbia will be investing a total of $25.6 million into the community to help children, families and seniors. Read about how and where those funds will be invested in our Community Investment Plan (CI Plan). Our CI Plan acts as a roadmap: demonstrating how we plan to help children be all that they can be, move families from poverty to possibility and help build stronger communities for seniors. When we work together, we can make a difference.  Here’s how your money went to work across communities in the Lower Mainland last year.
