Scotia Bank and United Way Community Spirit Awards This year’s Scotiabank and United Way Community Spirit Awards will be amazing!  The event takes place Tuesday, February 21, and recognizes and honours organizations, unions and individuals that have helped to make incredible things possible for others and worked hard to strengthen our community over the past year. Scotiabank returns as the event’s title sponsor for the 16th consecutive year. “At Scotiabank, investing in our communities has been a focus for over 180 years.
