Our 89th AGM and Board of Directors

On Tuesday June 18, 2019 United Way British Columbia held its 89th Annual General Meeting.

The gathering was a chance to reflect on the progress made since adopting our 2018-2023 Strategic Plan. In just one year, we’ve implemented many innovative approaches to live our new mission: serving the needs of our local communities, while igniting the desire in everyone to improve the place they call home.

All of this was made possible by our donors, volunteers, supporters and partners. It’s all local love and it all counts.

Thank you!

Board of Directors

The AGM was also a time to recognize our Board of Directors. The Board is a group of dedicated leaders in their professions and in our community. They volunteer their time to help govern United Way with a mix of knowledge, insight and passion.

We would like to welcome new member Lori Mayhew, voted in at the AGM. Lori is the Secretary-Treasurer at MoveUP, one of UWBC’s most dedicated labour partners. Lori joins five other new members appointed to the board earlier this year:
