United Way Day: inspiring people and communities to engage in acts of local love

September 20, 2018 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

When: Thursday September 20, 2018

Time: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm

Location: Vancouver Art Gallery, South Plaza (Robson Street side)

Come out and show us what we already know: that you’re one in a million!

Join us as we show our local love through a series of fun activities and powerful speakers.

  • Build a snack pack for a local child
  • Write a letter to a senior
  • Hear impactful stories and reflections from
    • Shane Point, Musqueam Elder
    • Morgan Brayton, comedian and MC
    • Christina Lee, United Way seniors’ program volunteer
    • Brenda Aynsley, Vice-President at United Way British Columbia

Plus enjoy food trucks, swag giveaways and more!

We all benefit from acts of local love. They help us tackle the unignorable issues in our community and help improve the places we all call home.

Together, let’s see how many people we can bring together, to help inspire others to join the movement too.

RSVP today.
