DESCRIPTION:2020 UWBC Pathfinders Series: Social Connection\nThursday\, November 19\n5:30 pm – 6:30 pm\nOnline Viewing Link will be confirmed upon registration \n\n	RSVP 	\n\n    We are honoured to feature keynote speaker Dr. Susan Pinker for our first event. Dr. Pinker is a developmental psychologist\, best-selling author of The Village Effect\, and a columnist for The Wall Street Journal. She will share her newest research to help us explore the power of social connection and resilience\, which are more important than ever in these challenging times. Kim Winchell\, senior director of strategy and operations at United Way\, will then discuss how your ongoing support has provided emergency services during the Covid-19 Pandemic. \nThe event will be moderated by Rudy Kerklaan\, vice chairman of Connor\, Clark & Lunn Private Capital. Rudy is a longstanding donor and volunteer to United Way British Columbia and is vice chair of the board of directors.
